We are sorry to report that the latest efforts today (Thursday) to repair the KIKO transmitter were unsuccessful.
KIKO-AM's transmitter was damaged last weekend when a power outage caused a power surge that damaged the transmitter and knocked us off the air.
New transmitter parts were ordered and installed but the problems continue.
Right now it looks like the earliest we can be back on the air is sometime Monday afternoon.

(UPDATE) KIKO-AM is Temporarily Off The Air
A power outage caused damage to the KIKO-AM transmitter over the weekend.
A new transmitter part was installed today (Tuesday) but unfortunately there are still problems. Right now it looks like we will be able to return to the air late Thursday afternoon or evening.
