Globe Council Meets Tonight

Globe City Council meets tonight (Monday) at 6:00 at Globe City Hall. They will consider a revised job description for Globe Police Chief. The current Chief has announced his intent to retire at the end of June. The Council will also consider a proposed Master Intergovernmental Agreement with other Arizona cities and towns to assure Workers Compensation coverage of employees while engaged in joint activities. The agenda also includes a $730,000 purchase order to drill Well Number 6 at the Cutter Well field. This is one of the projects included in the $5 million loan approved by the Arizona Water Finance Authority and connected with voter-approved Water Revenue Bonds.
