The Arizona Department of Transportation says State Route 77 between Globe and Winkelman will be open for holiday traffic from Thursday at 2:pm until Monday at 8:am.

ADOT is currently widening a two mile segment of the highway. State Route 77 will continue to be closed for blasting operations Monday through Friday from 6:am to 6:pm, except for the Easter Holiday. Blasting is expected to continue through mid May.

Construction crews will continue to haul materials on weekends from 6:am to 6:pm. A pilot vehicle escorts traffic through the project. You can expect delays up to 30 minutes when traveling through the construction area on weekends.

State Route 77 is open every night from 6:pm to 6:am for restricted northbound and southbound travel. One lane will be open, with traffic signals at each end of the work zone to control one way traffic.
