The Arizona Department of Transportation announces more travel restrictions on State Route 77 between Globe and Winkelman. Starting May 4, construction crews will be hauling materials Monday through Thursday from 8:pm to 6:am. During these hauling operations, cars will be piloted through the work zone. During all other nightime hours, SR 77 will have one lane open, with traffic signals at each end of the work zone to control one way traffic.
Construction crews are also hauling materials on weekends from 6:am to 6:pm.
SR 77 will continue to be closed weekdays until mid-May. ADOT is widening the roadway shoulders and creating a rockfall ditch.
