The committee working to create a historic mining park at the Old Dominion Mine site is looking for materials to build ramadas for benches and picnic tables and other structures. The committee is working to get the area ready to turn over to the City of Globe by the end of the year. The lease has been recently signed by the City and BHP, and grant funding for park development has been acquired.
