The Gila Community College April Poetry Forum will be a tribute to Donnafred Hoff. Donnafred was a local artist, author, and personality whose enthusiasm and flair for fun made her a costumed fixture in many a downtown parade. A collection of her art is being exhibited at Cobre Valley Center for the Arts. Her poetry will be featured at the Poetry Forum this Saturday at 7:pm. It will be at vida e caffe, located at 157 West Cedar.
The Poetry Forum format is open mike and the venue is meant to be comfortable and to encourage poets of all ages to share their hearts and thoughts.
