Police Log

A rollover accdent early this morning at Cottonwood and Fourth Street resulted in unknown injuries. The case is pending further investigation by the Globe Police Department.

Last night a citizen called Globe PD to report that she heard someone in the culvert behind her house calling for help. Officers located a 19 year old man who was taken to Cobre Valley Hospital.

Globe Police received a 911 call yesterday afternoon about a man lying along the side of Highway 70 near the 77 junction. An officer contacted the man and then called for EMS.

Two people were arrested after a fight early this morning at the Drift Inn saloon. 34 year old Timothy Fritz was arrested on an otstanding warrant and for disorderly conduct. 22 year old Justin Hamlet was also charged with disorderly conduct.

Officers and EMS responded to a report of a domestic assault yesterday afternoon at Globe Mobile Home Park. 31 year old Andrew Parsons was arrested for domestic violence/disorderly conduct.

A juvenile at High Desert Middle School was taken to the Gila County Juvenile Detention Center for possession of marijuana.

Officers are investigating a report of an assault on Hackney Hill and a hit and run non-injury accident. A car hit a business and then left the area.

The Gila County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of an airplane from the Cutter Airport and a report of identity theft from a resident in the Wheatfields area.
