Supervisors Meet Tuesday

The Gila County Board of Supervisors meets tomorrow morning (Tuesday) at 10:00. County Attorney Daisy Flores will present the quarterly Officer Recognition Award to Officer AJ Castaneda of the Globe Police Department. The Supervisors will proclaim April 19-25 to be Great American Cleanup Week in Gila County in honor of Earth Day on April 22. They will discuss and possibly authorize the advertisement of a Request for Sealed Bids for the design of a new Gila County Jail Women’s Dormatory in Globe. The Board will also consider appointing John Perlman as Globe Regional Justice of the Peace Pro Tempore.
