Globe PD Warns About Sweepstakes Scam
The Globe Police Department has received information about another scam. This one is delivered through the mail from Canada. It tells you that you have won $350,000 in a sweepstakes drawing. It includes a $4,000 check that it says is to pay non-resident government service tax. You are given the name of a tax agent for you to contact.
