Police Log

Nobody was hurt in a two vehicle hit and run accident yesterday morning at Kaiser Crossing. Officers located the suspect vehicle at Cobre Valley Community Hospital. 49 year old Kari Craft was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident. Kraft also had an outstanding warrant for forgery and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Three people were arrested after officers responded to an assault at Copper Country Mobile Home Park. 29 year old Alfred Valtierra and 48 year old Richard Gabler were both arrested for assault. 26 year old Jennifer Gabler was arrested for disorderly conduct.

36 year old John Badilla was arrested last night at Walmart for aggravated domestic violence and harassment.

Yesterday morning 35 year old Dugan Polacca was arrested for disorderly conduct at a business on South Hill Street.

Two people were arrested after a disturbance at the Economy Inn. 58 year old Joan Harney was arrested for an outstanding warrant. 45 year old Robert Holy was charged with criminal trespass.

Officers are investigating a theft report taken at a residence on Mesa Street and a shoplifting incident that took place early this morning at the Circle K on 7th Street.

The Gila County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a theft from a construction company. More than $13,000 worth of equipment was taken from a storage shed.
