The
National Park Service announces three weekends this summer when visitors will be admitted free to all national parks. Interior Secretary
Ken Salazar says the free weekends should help families struggling with the recession to afford a memorable vacation.
The free weekends are June 20-21, July 18-19 and August 15 and 16. The fees being waived range from $3 to $25. That doesn’t apply to fees charged for camping, reservations, tours or concessions.
