CNBC’s annual report ranks Arizona 18th based on 40 measurements, grouped into 10 large categories.
Arizona scored best in the work force category at No.4. States were rated based on their work force education level, number of available employees, union membership and training programs.
Arizona’s worst score was for education, where it was 45th.
