A new exhibit about the Great Depression in Arizona opens at the Globe Public Library on Saturday, August 8.The exhibit is called “A Dose of Cod Liver Oil.” It features historic photos, documents, letters and artifacts from the Arizona State Library, Archives and Museum in Phoenix. Globe is the second stop for the exhibit that is touring the state for the next year.
An opening reception will be held at the Globe Library on August 8 from 1 to 3:pm.It will include a discussion about federal programs developed during the 1930’s, presented by archivists from the State Library. Bring your Depression era artifacts, letters or photographs and share your thoughts on the Great Depression.
