San Carlos Apache Tribe Will Receive $1.1 Million to Improve Water Services

The San Carlos Apache Tribe is one of eight tribes in Arizona that will benefit from stimulus funds to improve water services. The US Environmental Protection Agency and the Indian Health Service have announced that $90 million will go to projects to increase access to drinking water and sanitation services.

More than $1.1 million goes to the San Carlos Apache Tribe for drinking water system improvements serving 1,055 homes.
