Livestock Auction Results

35 animals were sold at the 41st Annual Gila County Fair Junior Livestock Auction yesterday. They brought a total of more than $94,000.

16 steers sold for an average of $4.20 a pound or $4,696 each.
15 swine sold for an average of $4.49 a pound or $1,129 each.
4 lambs sold for an average of $5.37 a pound or $676 each.

A total of 26 buyers participated.

Thomas Woods Grand Champion Swine was bought by AJAX for $4.50 a pound.
Bailey Sexton's Grand Champion Lamb was bought by Freeport McMoRan for $6.00 a pound.
Stevy Arthur's Grand Champion Steer was bought by McSpadden Ford for $7.25 a pound.
Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center bought Dalli Chase's Reserve Grand Champion Swine for $5.50 a pound.
Copper Mountain Inn bought Katelyn Tanner's Reserve Grand Champion Lamb for $2.50 a pound.
Bob and Miriam Boice bought Sarah Scott's Reserve Grand Champion Steer for $6.50 a pound.
