Arizona’s First Things First Executive Director Rhian Allvin will be at the Pinal Gila Head Start Center in Miami on Monday at 4:pm. She’ll present local officials with a check symbolizing First Things First’s allocation to the Gila region for fiscal year 2012.
The latest $631,000 brings the total 3-year investment in the region to nearly $2 million. The voter approved funds are dedicated to expanding or enhancing early education and health services for kids 5 and younger.
