Next Wednesday (October 13) a free early literacy training session will be held at the Mofford Activity Center.
Parents, caregivers, pre-school teachers, children’s programming personnel and library staff will learn how to make the connections between play activities and early literacy skills. You will also get the latest research, practice and hands-on activities that support Arizona’s Early Learning Standards and Head Start Child Outcomes. Lunch will be provided.
This workshop is sponsored by the Gila County Library District and supported by a grant from First Things First.
