Gasoline prices usually drop this time of year, but for the third straight week, prices are going up slightly. AAA Arizona says the statewide average for a gallon of unleaded regular is a little over $2.75 a gallon. That’s an increase of 3.3 cents from last week. The nationwide average is around $2.83, an increase of just over a penny. Here in Globe-Miami, prices are around $2.70 a gallon.
