Halloween Events This Weekend

Lots of Halloween events are taking place this weekend in Globe-Miami.

The annual events in downtown Globe begin Friday night next to the Center for the Arts building. There’ll be a pumpkin carving contest from 5 to 8, along with food and coffee vendors. Also a Chili, Cornbread and Fall Treats Cookoff.
The Copper Rim School Fall Festival will be part of the downtown Globe event Friday night. It starts at 4:pm and includes games, prizes, and food. Lots of baskets will be raffled off, with tickets 50 cents each. All proceeds from the Fall Festival will go to Copper Rim students, teachers and classrooms.

The Prison of Terror Spook House at the Old Historic Jail on Oak Street will be open every night through Sunday from 7 to 11:pm. Admission is $5.

The Ghosts of Globe Tours on Saturday night will start every 15 minutes between 7:30 and 8:30 at the Old Historic Jail.

The Halloween weekend in downtown Globe concludes on Sunday night with trick or treat booths set up by local merchants. This is from 5:30 until 7:pm.

Copper Mountain Inn invites trick or treaters to their Friday Fright Night from 6 to 8:pm. It includes spooky hayrides, a haunted house, games, trick or treating with the residents, a scary movie on the wall, and hot dogs.

The Globe Moose Lodge will have a Halloween Party Friday night from 5 to 9:pm.

The 8th annual Trunk-O-Treats at St. Paul’s Church will be set up in the parking lot Sunday from 5:30 until 7:pm. This is a safe, fun place for trick or treaters. Church members and neighbors will distribute treats from their car trunks.

The Miami Fire Department presents “Halloween in the Park" Sunday night at Bullion Plaza from 6 to 10:pm.
