Resolution Mine: Ordinary Article, Better Comment

Photo:ArizonaGeology

On Thursday the Tucson Sentinel published an article from the Cronkite News Service about the proposed Resolution Copper mine. The article is pretty much like every other newspaper article that has been written about it.

But here is one reader's comment:
Land protected and set aside never to be touched by two Presidents to be given away for some temp jobs. While they destroy everything, and take the ore to sell, and the profits. Oak Flats and Apache Leap gone for nothing. How about bring in jobs that will stay and grow with the area without destroying like Industry, Manufacturing, Science and Medical fields. Or don’t they give kickbacks to those that would give away our land and water?
