Local Fire Departments responded to a vehicle fire at Highway 60 and Pinto Valley. The fire was contained with no injuries.
Nobody was hurt in a minor two vehicle accident yesterday afternoon at Broad and Cedar Streets.
Gila County Narcotic Task Force Criminal Interdiction Unit arrested 36 year old Eric Cooper of Nashville, Tennessee after a traffic stop. He was charged with possession of marijuana for sale and transportation of marijuana for sale. 62 pounds of marijuana was found in the vehicle with a street value of $46,000.
The Gila County Sheriff’s Office arrested 64 year old Luis Mendival for disorderly conduct and domestic violence after a disturbance at a residence on Locomotive Drive.
39 year old Juan Moreno was arrested yesterday for driving with a suspended license.
The Sheriff’s Office School Resource Sergeant took an aggravated assault report at Charles Bejarano School.
A theft report was taken at a residence in Ice House Canyon.
A Globe Police officer cited and released 36 year old Dana Page for driving under the influence of drugs.
36 year old Shellie Ortiz was arrested in connection with a theft of services report taken on Monday.
39 year old Andrew Martin was arrested for shoplifting at the Hill Street Safeway.
