Arizona Drops to No. 31 Among Healthy States

Arizona has dropped to No. 31 among the states in the latest America’s Health Rankings.

Arizona showed a low prevalence of smoking, a low rate of preventable hospitalizations, and low rates of cancer deaths and cardiovascular deaths.

But the state showed a high rate of children in poverty, a high rate of people uninsured and low per capita public heralth funding.
