Police Log

Local fire agencies responded to a chimney fire on Bird Street last night. Damages are reported to be extensive but no injuries were reported.

Nobody was hurt in a single vehicle accident yesterday morning in the area of Kellner Canyon. The car was towed and 20 year old Vance Mata was cited and released for DUI.

A driver was cited after a vehicle-pedestrian accident Friday afternoon on Highway 60.

There were no injuries in an accident Friday afternoon in front of the Claypool Post Office.

Nobody was hurt when a truck hit a deer Friday night in the area of Highway 70/77.

There was a hit and run accident yesterday afternoon on Highway 60. 49 year old Rodney Doney later turned himself in for a Gila County warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. Globe PD charged him for the hit and run.

Globe Police arrested 35 year old Jessica Lopez yesterday on warrants for failure to comply on charges of drug paraphernalia and child support.

27 year old Charles Moore was arrested for domestic violence/assault after he left the scene of a disturbance Saturday morning on South Hill Street.

A call Friday night about two people throwing objects at vehicles in the area of Beer Tree crossing resulted in the arrest of 20 year old Delbert Martin for underage consumption, and a 17 year old juvenile for underage consumption and disorderly conduct.

51 year old Jody Herrera was arrested Friday on a child support warrant.

Gila County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a followup investigation in the area of Hershey Highway. Five stolen guns were located. The case is pending further investigation.

35 year old Joseph Hammer was arrested Saturday for driving with a suspended license.

Deputies are investigating a hit and run Saturday afternoon on Morrow Avenue; a vehicle theft in the area of Cherokee; a theft from a vehicle on San Carlos Drive; and a burglary report taken at Four Star Mobile Home Park.

Globe Police are investigating an assault at an address on Euclid; a report of harassment at a business on North Broad Street; a burglary at a business on North Broad Street; a burglary at a business on South Broad Street; and a theft at a residence on Rose Lane.
