Nobody was hurt in a two vehicle accident yesterday afternoon in the area of Maple Leaf. One driver was cited for failure to control a motor vehicle.
Last night about 11;30 Globe Police were dispatched to an accident at Escudilla and Ord Mountain. When officers arrived there was nobody near the vehicle at fault. However, 22 year old Robert Williams was contacted about an hour and a half later and charged with DUI, false reporting to law enforcement and leaving the scene of an accident.
Early this morning 36 year old James Gillum was arrested for use and possession of dangerous drugs and use of marijuana.
Two juveniles were referred to juvenile probation yesterday for shoplifting at the Hunter Drive Circle K. In connection with the same incident, 18 year old Patrocinio Ortiz was arrested for possesion of marijuana. Other charges may be forthcoming.
22 year old Brandon Wright was arrested for theft from the Santee Circle K.
45 year old Philip Drennan was arrested last night at an address on East Skylinee for public nuisance.
Officers are investigating a burglary on East Ash and an attempted burglary on East Ash.
The Gila County Sheriff’s office is investigating a fraud report taken at Action Pawn.
