Police Log

Local Fire Departments responded to a structure fire yesterday morning around 8:45 on Washington Street off Marion Canyon. There was nobody home at the time of the fire. The pets were removed from the home without injury. The Red Cross is assisting the residents of the home.

Nobody was hurt in an accident yesterday afternoon in the 700 block of Agave.

A Gila County Sheriff’s deputy and Tri City EMT’s responded to a single vehicle accident yesterday evening at Russell Road and Forest Service Road 55. The vehicle was towed. 18 year old Breelyn Cano was cited and released for underage drinking with further charges pending.

Gila County Task Force arrested 31 year old Albert Reyes for possesion of dangerous drugs for sale and a child support warrant.

22 year old Bridgette Kerlock was arrested yesterday for possession of marijuana.

Gila County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46 year old Robert Stimple on a child support warrant.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40 year old Toni Rossi of Globe on a failure to comply warrant for theft.

Globe Police were dispatched to Walmart last night after a call about an intoxicated man yelling at customers. When officers arrived there was also another man involved. 47 year old Sam Hinton and 33 year old Jerry Hinton were both arrested for shoplifting at Safeway. Sam Hinton was also charged with criminal damage after he kicked out a window in a patrol vehicle.

Officers responded to a call about an intoxicated man on East Ash near the Express Stop. The man was advised to leave the area and not to drive his vehicle. An officer saw him driving his vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. 28 year old Lincoln Redhouse of Tempe was charged with aggravated DUI.

Officers are investigating an assault report taken at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center and a report of illegal dumping in the area of Highway 70 and Hunter Drive.
