Police Log

Globe PD and ADOT are advising the public to be aware of dump truck traffic this week through Friday on Jesse Hayes Road. Please slow down and proceed through the area with caution.

Patients were airlifted to nearby hospitals Friday night after a rollover accident on Highway 60 at the Rod Plant.

Two juveniles were questioned in connection with a fire Saturday afternoon at a business on South Broad Street. The case is pending further investigation.

Nobody was hurt in an accident yesterday afternoon at Copper Country Mobile Home Park. A 17 year old juvenile was referred to juvenile probation for hit and run.

There were no injuries in a two vehicle accident Friday afternoon on Ash Street near Third Street. One driver was cited for failure to control a vehicle to avoid an accident and for no proof of insurance.

Yesterday Globe Police arrested 39 year old Juan Moreno for domestic assault after a disturbance on Euclid Hill.

42 year old Howard Bunch was arrested at a traffic stop last night for DUI.

24 year old Daniel Allen was arrested for having an open container in public after locking the door and demanding liquor from a business on Broad Street. The business does not sell liquor.

Miami Police arrested 18 year old Kevin Swedick for criminal trespass.

22 year old Jason Angeles was arrested on a shoplifting warrant.

On Saturday night the Gila County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32 year old Christina Perry for driving with a suspended license.

Deputies are investigating a report of threats taken on Snell Road and a burglary at a residence on Highway 60.

Globe Police are investigating an assault and a report of domestic violence/abuse.
