Globe City Council meets Monday night at 6:00. The agenda includes a Resolution recomending that the Southern Gila County Economic Development Corporation cease its pursuit of a private prison project.
There will also be a discussion about authorizing the Mayor to sign a letter to the Arizona Department of Corrections expressing the support of a majority of the Mayor and Council for a private prison to be located in the City of Globe.
