The federal government is offering low interest loans to small businesses that were affected by flooding or winter storms.
Businesses in Gila and 5 other Arizona counties can apply to borrow up to $2 million from the Small Business Administration to replace damaged or destroyed propery, equipment, inventory or other assets. Eligible homeowners and renters can also apply.
Disaster declarations cover Gila, Coconino, Navajo and Yavapai counties as a result of an October flood on the Havasupai reservation that forced the evacuation of tourists and damaged infrastructure.
Mohave and La Paz counties are covered as a result of severe winter storms that hit parts of California and Arizona in December and January.
