Police Log

Local agencies responded to a structure fire Friday afternoon on Six Shooter Canyon Road. Richard Marin was arrested for felony criminal damage and reckless burning. The case is pending further investigation.

Nobody was hurt in a one vehicle accident yesterday afternoon at the Fairgrounds Road. The driver was cited for failure to control her vehicle to avoid an accident.

There were no injuries in a two vehicle accident Friday afternoon on Higheay 60. One driver was cited for failure to control a vehicle to avoid an accident.

Two people were arrested last night in connection with a shoplifting report taken earlier in the day. 29 year old Michael Woods was charged with organized retail theft. Further investigation led to the arrest of 35 year old Raymond Hayes of Superior who was booked on the same charges.

Gila County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18 year old Carlin Dyer for possession of marijuana and driving under the influence of drugs.

Saturday night Globe Police arrested 32 year old Shaun Brooks for assault after an incident at a business on Baseline Spur. Brooks also had a faulure to appear warrant.

41 year old Daniel Hileman of Roosevelt was arrested for DUI and disorderly conduct Saturday night outside the Copper Parrot.

Friday afternoon Globe Police received a call about a woman obstructing traffic near Gila Valley Auto and throwing rocks at cars. 27 year old Noemi Garcia was arrested for disorderly conduct.

32 year old Steven Talgo was arrested Friday night for DUI.

41 year old Randy Mikulesky was arrested for driving with a revoked license.

29 year old Desiree Valenzuela was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

On Friday the Gila County Sheriff’s office arrested 24 year old Enrique Lopez for criminal damage/domestic violence and disorderly conduct.

34 year old Jaime Tabor was arrested on two failure to comply warrants for issuing bad checks.

44 year old Robert Ramos was cited and released for trespassing.

Florence Police arrested 39 year old Waylon Rogers of Peridot for failure to comply on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office in Bellingham, Washington arrested 29 year old Coral Koepf of Globe on a failure to appear warrant on nine counts of forgery and fraudulent schemes.

Gila County Sheriff’s Offce is investigating a theft that occurred at a county construction site and an attempted theft of a vehicle in the area of Bixby Road.

Globe Police are investigating a report of threats made by a customer to an employee at a business on South Broad Street; criminal damage at the Community Center skate park; a burglary at a residence on Pinal Street; and shoplifting at Walmart.
