An annual survey of 3,000 mining-related companies around the world ranks Arizona as the fifth most hospitable policy climate for mining in the US. Arizona ranks 25th worldwide. The survey was conducted by the Fraser Institute.
The Arizona Geology blog reports that Arizona ranks high in favorable tax structure, infrastructure, community development and trade barriers. Arizona ranks very high in labor relations and labor supply.
