The 100th anniversary of the Theodore Roosevelt Dam is being celebrated this month. Tonight (Wednesday) the Miami Hardscrabble Series presents Richard Powers, speaking on the history of Roosevelt Dam. The presentation starts at 7:00 at the Miami Library.
Powers is a local author and historian. He was involved with the renovation of the dam and reconstruction of Apache Trail while working for the Department of Transportation.
