Police Log

There was a kitchen fire shortly after midnight at Jerry’s Restaurant. Globe Fire Department contained the fire in less than an hour.

An injury accident occurred early this morning at the 70/77 junction. One person was taken to Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center.

Nobody was hurt in an accident Saturday night on Highway 60 near Checker Auto. The driver was cited for failure to control a vehicle to avoid an accident.

Miami Police referred three juveniles to juvenile probation after they were caught running away from a brush fire.

Globe Police arrested 61 year old Simon Benites for sexual assault.

18 year old Devin Saucedo was arrested for criminal damage to a vehicle on Sycamore.

42 year old Franklin Stanley was arrested for trespassing at an address on Linda Vista.

On Saturday Globe Police arrested 43 year old Glenn Edwards for criminal damage.

24 year old Jonthan Ailak was arrested on a failure to comply warrant for extreme DUI.

Pinal County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22 year old Jacob Napolitano of Miami on a warrant for driving with a suspended license.

Globe Police arrested 21 year old Matthew Vial on Friday for threats and intimidation.

43 year old Roger Longknife was arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing after causing a disturbance at a residence on Prickley Pear Drive.

Pinetop/Lakeside Police arrested 30 year old Brandy Moore of Miami on a failure to comply warrant for driving with a suspended license.

Globe Police are investigating the egging of a residence on Fairview Street; two vehicles that were broken into on Sycamore; burglary from vehicles on East Skyline, South Agave, and Prickley Pear; and criminal damage to a residence on Euclid.

Gila County Sheriff’s Office is investigating theft from a vehicle on Dickison Drive and theft of gas at the Claypool Circle K.
