City of Globe Presents 'Old West Days' in May

The City of Globe will present a multi-entertainment event in May called “Old West Days.”

On Saturday, May 7, the Kick Off Dance will be held from 6 to 10:pm at the Drift Inn Saloon. There’ll be music and an old west reenactment group. Admission is $5.

Then on Saturday, May 14, the “Old West Days’ Grand Parade begins at 9:am. This will be followed by a Street Fair on Broad Street at the Old Court House and Historic Railroad Depot. In addition to food, music and other entertainmemt, there will be guided tours of the old jail, courthouse and cemetery.

The Historic “Copper Dust Stampede” Rodeo will take place on Saturday, May 14 at 5:pm and on Sunday at 1:pm.
