The second annual train ride from Globe to Miami and back leaves the Globe depot tomorrow (Wednesday) at 12:Noon. It’s a fundraiser for economic development projects for the Town of Miami. The train will pull into the Miami depot at 1:pm and then return to Globe around 1:30.
It is hoped that the community support for this event will encourage Arizona Eastern Railroad to add Miami to the Copper Spike excursion this fall.
Tickets are $35, which includes a lunch on the train. Call Marlene at 473-4134 to see if there are any seats left.
