May is Older Americans Month. The Globe Senior Center has a lot of activities planned for May.
Tom Anderson from Consumer Credit Services will talk about “Understanding Money and Credit” tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10:30. If you attend the workshop, lunch is free. But you must sign up in advance by calling 425-9030.
On Thursday the Center is hosting a Holocaust survivor from Hungary. George Kalman will have a talk and discussion at 10:30. The National Days of Remembrance video will be shown just before that at 9:30. The entire community is invited. If you’d like to stay for lunch, make a reservation by calling 425-9030. The cost is $2.50 for those over 60, $5 if you’re under 60.
The Senior Center will celebrate Old West Days and the Copper Dust Rodeo on Friday at 10:30am.
