Arizona is holding a free fishing day Saturday as part of National Fishing and Boating Week. No fishing licenses will be required for fishing at any Arizona public waters. But be sure to check on fire and weather conditions before you head out.
Bag limits and other fishing regulations will still be in effect.
Arizona Game and Fish Department is sponsoring a number of Free Fishing Day events. Loaner fishing rods, bait and instruction will be provided free at many venues.
