The Russell Gulch Landfill is waiving landfill fees for greenwaste on two upcoming Saturdays. This will allow residents to clear their property of weeds and brush to protect their homes from fire danger.
On Saturday, June 25 and Saturday, July 2, greenwaste will be accepted from residents at no charge, excluding commercial haulers. Greenwaste includes tree limbs, pine needles, brush, grass clippings, weeds and leaves. All other trash will be charged the regular price.
Russell Gulch Landfill hours are 6:am until 4:pm Monday through Saturday. The landfill is closed Sundays and on Monday, July 4.
