Miami Town Council meets tonight (Monday) at 6:30. They’ll appoint a new councilmember to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Chuy Canizales. They’ll also appoint a new member to the Board of Directors of the Municipal Property Corporation to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Paul Licano.
The agenda includes a Citizen’s Review of a Zoning Ordinance decreasing the minimum separation requirement for Medical Marijuana Favilities to 250 feet from the nearest residence. Members of the public will be given an opportunity to express issues or concerns they may have about the proposed amendment.
