Miami Town Council meets tonight (Monday) at 6:30. There will be a Public Hearing on a Zoning Ordinance that would decrease the minimum separation requiremenmt for Medical Marijuana Facilities from 500 feet to 250 feet from the nearest residential zoning district.
Gila County Elections Director Linda Eastlick will give a presentation about redistricting and how citizens can participate in the process.
The Council will discuss the status of code enforcement efforts related to blight issues.
Councilmembers will consider an amendment to the contract with Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens to increase funding for the current fiscal year. They will also consider an Intergovernmental Agreement with Gila County relating to additional funding of the Senior Center transit program.
And the Council will vote on a Resulution asking the State Legislature to not further reduce the highway user revenue fund allocations to Arizona Cities and Towns.
