Police Log

Yesterday morning 25 year old Victor Flores turned himself in at the Gila County Jail. Flores was arrested on Tuesday for DUI and escaped from the Globe Police Department. He was charged with misconduct involving weapons, escape and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Two people were arrested yesterday evening at the downtown Safeway. 27 year old Terrill Brown was arrested for shoplifting and failuire to comply warrants for DUI and driving with a suspended license. 26 year old Katheryn Benally was arrested for false reporting and failure to comply warrants for theft, criminal trespass and shoplifting.

47 year old Sandra Hill was arrested yesterday for DUI.

Officers are investigating a report of a lost purse and fraudulent use of credit cards.

Gila County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of illegal dumping in the Silver Hills area. There were some items with names and adresses in the trash. It was determined that the items had been stolen two days earlier.

Deputies are investigating a report of gas siphoned from a truck at a residence in Six Shooter Canyon and criminal damage at the Carlotta Main Gate.
