Two new wildfires started this week in Arizona. One of them is burning near the San Carlos Apache Reservation. It is called the Stanley Fire. A Bureau of Indian Affairs spokeswoman told KGUN9 in Tucson that the Stanley Fire has burned about 4,300 acres. There are a couple of ranch structures in the area that are not immediately threatened.
The Copper Creek Fire started Tuesday about 12 miles east of Mammoth. It has burned about 150 acres.
