Augie Rivera passed away Tuesday at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center. He was 51. He is survived by his children Regina Wagner, Augie Rivera, Jr., and Gilbert Rivera of Globe, and Avrileen Rivera. of Claypool; his father Conie Rivera of Wheatfields; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; and 3 grandchildren.
Visitation for Augie Rivera will be Friday, July 8 at 6:pm at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church. Rosary is at 7:pm and Mass is at 10:am Saturday, July 9.
Augie died doing what he loved to do, He was a true cowboy! Augie will be missed by all who knew him. Our prayers go out to all his family especially his children. I noticed that his girlfriend and mother of his daughter wasn't mentioned they may have had their differences but they loved each other, our prayers are with you also Christine. May the good Lord guide all of you thru this most difficult and sad time in your lives by helping you to remembber only the good times and the love you all shared with Augie. Augie will be missed by all who knew him and loved him. Rest in Peace our dear friend. We will see you soon. Now your riding the big rodeo in the sky. Sincerely The McDaniel Family
