Police Log

Last night Globe Police arrested 39 year old John Willard in connection with an assault that occurred earlier on Euclid. Willard drove to the Euclid residence and honked his horn. When the victim came out, Willard punched him in the mouth and left the area. The victim told officers that he did not know Willard.
About 45 minutes later officers were dispatched to the area of Monroe Street for a welfare check. The man was OK and turned out to be the assault suspect. The car that Willard drove to the Euclid address was also located. Willard was charged with assault, criminal damage and unlawful use of means of transportation.

20 year old Ashley Roberts was arrested yesterday for a shoplifting that occurred on Monday.

18 year old J’Lynn Hunter was arrested for assault and theft in connection with a report taken on Monday. A juvenile was also referred to juvenile probation for criminal damage.

28 year old Jesus Flores was arrested on a failure to comply warrant for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Globe PD says the mobile radar unit is on Jess Hayes Road today.

Gila County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47 year old Brandi Brandon after a domestic disturbance on Savage Drive. Brandon was charged with assault/domestic violence, criminal damage, and threats and intimidation.

After a call about a possible vehicle accident, a deputy found an unoccupied stolen vehicle about 200 feet down in a canyon in the area of Russell Road. A report was taken and a tow company was contacted.

A vehicle was reported stolen in the area of Miami High School. It was located at another parking lot nearby and was not damaged.
