The Kellner Fire on the north slope of the Pinal Mountains has burned 2.5 acres. The fire was started by lightning on Friday night.
The fire is being managed to allow it to continue its natural ecological role within the Pinal Mountain ecosystem. Fire specialists will continue to monitor the fire throughout its progression.
