Local fire agencies responded to a brush fire behind Walmart last night. The fire was quickly put out and there was no damage to the surrounding area.
Gila County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22 year old Leon Barnes for theft.
A deputy responded to criminal damage and possible auto theft on Alamo Way. The vehicle was found down the hill from where it had been left and was damaged. The car was being worked on and was not driveable. The case is under investigation.
Deputies are investigating a theft from a vehicle at Beer Tree Crossing and a hit and run accident in the area of Pineway.
Globe Police are investigating criminal damage to a building on Maple Street and a burglary at a local school.
