Police Log

A car hit a cow last night in Kellner Canyon. The driver was not injured but the car had to be towed. The cow did not survive.

Saturday night a pickup truck ran into the Arizona Republic building on West Ash Street. A power pole was also knocked down on top of the car. 38 year old Carlos Contreras was arrested for DUI and criminal damage.

Nobody was hurt in an accident Friday night at Ash and Broad Streets involving a car and a bus. One driver was cited for failure to stop at a red light. 59 year old Angel Martinez was arrested for driving with a revoked license.

Gila County Sheriff’s Deputies and medical personnel responded to a residence on Remington Drive early Sunday morning for a report of a person in distress, possibly unconscious. When deputies arrived they determined that this was a domestic incident and the victim was fine. But 39 year old Angel Rosalez was charged with domestic violence/disorderly conduct and false reporting

Last night deputies responded to a fight on Locomotive Drive. 18 year old Karen Arguero was charged with domestic assault. 19 year old Toni Gonzales was cited and released for assault.

31 year old Joseph Vance was cited and released for driving with a suspended license.

20 year old James Tower was cited and released yesterday for driving with a suspended license.

Deputies are investigating a criminal damage report taken at a residence on Saguaro Drive and criminal damage at a residence on El Camino.

Globe Police arrested 33 year old Joe Cruz for DUI.

Officers are investigating a complaint of domestic/harassment at a residence in Copper Country Mobile Home Park and criminal damage at a business on Broad Street.

Miami Police arrested 22 year old Seth Busby on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
