Police Log

Globe Fire Department put out a structure fire yesterday just before noon at a residence on High Street.

Last night Globe Police responded to a report of a truck hanging off the side of a hill on Chaparral Loop. 30 year old Michal Stotts of Show Low was arrested for extreme DUI.

Officers responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle on Pasquale Street. 42 year old Ignacio Renteria was arrested for an outstanding warrant and for driving with a suspended license.

26 year old Steven Earven was arrested on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.

A Gila County Sherif’s Deputy was dispatched to the Central Heights area for a report of dogs attacking a juvenile. The juvenile was taken to the hospital and Animal Control was contacted.

Yesterday morning a vehicle was reported stolen from a residence on Copper Street. Later in the day there was a single vehicle accident on Ice House Canyon Road. No one was around when the deputy arrived. The vehicle turned out to be the truck that was stolen from the residence on Copper Street.

Deputies are investigating a report of animal cruelty taken at the Spring Creek Store and and a theft report taken at a residence on Randall Road.
