Fuel prices remained relatively flat this week. The average Arizona price per gallon dropped 0.6 cents to a little over $3.33. The nationwide average rose 1.3 cents to just under $3.44. The Globe-Miami average price is around $3.35.
While pump prices have gained stability, AAA Arizona says that the average Arizona household spent 7.3% of its income last month on fuel. That’s about $2.98. This is a nearly half percent decrease from the pump price peak in May, but Arizonans are still paying 2% more for gas than they did this time last year.
