The Gila County Historical Museum and the Bullion Plaza Cultural Center and Museum are joining together for a Christmas Open House on Friday. The event will be at the museum on N. Broad Street next to the Chamber of Commerce from 4 until 7:pm.
The museum has a new display on Globe’s two Arizona governors, Gov. George W. P. Hunt, the first governor of the state, and Rose Mofford, the first woman governor. They are being honored with a display on their early years as Globe residents.
