Police Log

Last night Canyon and Globe Fire Departments responded to a brush fire at Adobe and Six Shooter Canyon. The fire was quickly put out.

On Wednesday Miami Police responded to a report of a structure fire. They found that the homeowner was able to contain the fire to a pile of wood and other items being stored in front of the home. No damage was reported.

Nobody was hurt in an accident last night at Besich and Russell Road.

Wednesday afternoon there was a non-injury accident on Highway 60 at Dave’s Fast Stop.

Three people were arrested after a fight last night near the downtown Safeway. 19 year old Al Brown was charged with disorderly conduct and underage consumption. 27 year old Terrill Brown and 28 year old Tiffany Gates were arrested on outstanding warrants.

25 year old Laurie Gates was arrested last night on a failure to appear warrant for shoplifting.

On Wednesday around midnight 19 year old Eduardo Armenta was arrested for underage consumption.

Officers are investigating a theft report taken at a residence on Euclid and a counterfeit bill at a business on Highway 60.

Gila County Sheriff’s Office is investigating criminal damage at a residence on Kellner Canyon Road; criminal damage at a residence on Ice House Canyon Road; criminal damage at Apache Trail Mobile Home Park; and a theft on Morrow Avenue.
